Scoping: 14 Storey, 175 Flat Development in North Woolwich

An application for a scoping opinion has been submitted to Newham Council for a residential development in North Woolwich that will contain four buildings, up to 14 storeys, and contain 175 flats.

As this is merely a scoping opinion EIA application there isn’t any renders or even architectural drawings however we do know the development will be at the corner of Store Road and Pier Road, which as the name suggests, are near the Woolwich Ferry terminal. The agent for the applicant is RSK.

The exact plot isn’t available as no documents have been uploaded, but we can presume it is a 0.36 hectare plot that Savills had listed for sale immediately north of the road to the ferry terminal, along with a description saying an indicative development of up to 14 storeys could be lodged, and as the other plot matching this description would be able to support significantly more units.
