Proposals to demolish an car repair workshop and replace it with a four storey building have been submitted by NewMac KGX Developments.
The scheme on Randell’s Road, designed by Peter Brades Architects, consists of a four storey building with commercial space on the ground floor and six flats above. All but one of the apartments will be two bedders, with the final flat being having one bedroom.
The design utilises various shades of grey bricks, with pinkish-red feature bricks in rows betwee windows. Both robust brick-walled balconies and metallic Juliet balconies are proposed, alongside arrow-slit likes windows.
The scheme is located close to the King’s Cross development, but also close to the established residential area of Barnsbury. The site already benefits from planning for a similar scheme.
