Plans in: Office Conversion in Orpington

Plans have been submitted to Bromley Council to convert Parker House at 27 Elmcroft Road in Orpington from offices to flats under the permitted development scheme.

The scheme will involve the create of five two-bedroom and three one-bedroom flats. Parker House is one of a series of business buildings located on a backlands site behind suburban houses just north of Orpington town centre.

The permitted development office to residential scheme gives local authorities just 56 days to make a decision on an application and gives them very limited scope to object. Given the office has its own dedicated car park one of the main reasons for objection, transport, has little chance of being used in this case.
