Plans in: Conversion of Brent Cross Gardens Offices to Flats

Four application have been submitted under the permitted development legislation to convert the office blocks of Brent Cross Gardens, next to the Brent Cross Flyover, into residential flats.

The plans relate to blocks 1-3, which are located to the South/East of the small access road into the office complex, buildings 4 and 5 as of yet have not seen applications.

The proposals that have been lodged are for the conversion of No.1 into 30 flats, No.2 into either 20 or 23 flats, and No.3 into 21 units, making the total number of new residential units from the conversion between 71 and 73.

The proposals appear to be for entirely studio flats, with most of the units being a little over 20sqm, which is quite small,  but with a few over 50sqm making those particular units as large as typical one-bed flats.
