Senex Capital has lodged plans for a 25-storey residential tower in Battersea, along with a new five storey office building and two additional floors on the Candle Factory building for retail and offices.
The new tower, designed by Squire and Partners, will replace a Lookers Volkswagen car showroom. It will contain 134 flats, currently all proposed to be for the private market.
The two storey extension to the historic York Road fronting Candle Factory building will be set back and in glass. Overall the site will see a substantial uplift in employment floorspace, including a substantial increase in retail space and the introduction of office space to the site.
