Scoping: 38 Storey Tower in Elephant and Castle

London Heights Property LLP has submitted a scoping application for  38 storey tower, alongside a shorter 7 storey building in Elephant and Castle.

The proposals are for the site of the Jewson builders merchant on Kennington Lane, SE11. This would be the furthest South-West of any recent tower in Elephant and Castle, but would help connect the new cluster to the Cotton Garden Estate towers, designed by the late George Finch.

At this stage details on design or even the architect have not been announced, however we do know there will be approximately 300 apartments, with the majority for the private rented sector. In addition there will be 600 sqm retail or community space and 3100 sqm office floorspace.
