Plans in: Office to 10 Flat Conversion in Staples Corner

Plans have been lodged to convert a small office block in Staples Corner into 10 flats under the permitted development scheme. The office block, currently occupied by Zeon at 39 Waterloo Road, is surrounded by a mixture of residential houses and light industrial units. Opposite is the Omega Cafe greasy spoon.

The plans have been submitted by Low Profile Limited who intend to convert the building into a mixture of flats ranging from a single studio flat to three three-bed duplex units. The scheme will also benefit from communal facilities such as a laundry, gym and play space.

Given some of the flats will be single aspect only to the side of the building, some might not enjoy great views – such onto corrugated light industrial roofs.
