Plans in: 9 Flats in 3 Storey Building in North Sheen

Plans have been lodged for a nine flat, three business unit scheme on Sandycombe Road in North Sheen. The application has been submitted by the current occupant of the site, Smith Bros, who are a local car repair garage.

The plans have been drawn up by Mohsin Cooper Architects who propose erecting a three storey building on this backland sites between the back gardens of the houses on Sandycombe Road and the railway tracks.

The site sits immediately south of another recently approved backlands scheme which encompasses more land than the proposed scheme. Currently the site has three industrial buildings on it, the proposal is to replace these with two new buildings, both of which will have apartments in them.

The South building will have two one bed flats and two two bed flats, while the North building will have two single bedroom apartments, a couple of two bed flats, and one three bed flat. In addition this building will contain three business units totalling 201sqm.63-sandycoombe1
