Goldcrest Land have submitted plans to build four buildings, up to four storeys in height, on a former Thames Water site in Colliers Wood. The site is located behind the houses on the south side of Fortescue Road, just north of the Tandem Centre retail park.
The scheme includes 74 apartments, of which 58 will be private and 16 for social rent. The design, by the developers in-house architects, is respectful of the materiality of nearby houses but also has a contemporary warehouse feel twist.
The site is accessed by a narrow driveway between existing houses on the street. Residents will have easy access to the green chain walkway and a nature reserve just east of the site.
